Taj-ul-Masajid is on the shores of virtuous Motia Talaab.  The mosque can house nearly 175,000 people at a time. It is the reason that this mosque is one of the largest mosques of India.   Entrance gateway of the mosque is ornate with traditional motifs that date back to mid-13th century from Syrian mosques.
